     But lets work with the one that we at SCPR find to be the one we most follow...
      First off, remember that if it is a human entity, then it is probably going to have, at minimum, memories and a personality of whoever it was before. Just like the living, sometimes certain ""people" just want to be noticed. They do things to draw attention to make sure you know they are there, and sometimes everything they have done to prove to you that they are there, we, the living, tend to ignore those actions, thinking that it is something "normal" or maybe we might catch it and say "that was odd". But as a rule, in our everyday lives we do not look at something that happened and say "Oh that was paranormal".
     Another factor that we have found is that most entities require some type of extra energy to manifest. When I say manifest, this can be everything from a full body apparition (where you can see it) or to them moving something. It is a rare find in the paranormal field to have something be able to manifest in any ways without having something to "boost them up". The only thing that we have found that seems to be prevalent is when we are able to catch voice phenomena. This is the type we catch using voice recorders which are called EVP's and NOT disembodied voices which are another matter entirely.
     Lastly, some spirits are just plain rambunctious or even, rarely, downright mean. There are cases where things have been thrown more in what seems a "I'm here ha ha ha" way, while things also have been thrown in such a way to either scare or harm someone.
     There are the other reasons I can go into, the differing plains of existence theories, etc... But for the most part, we work on the basis that hey, if the guy was a joker while living, or was needy for attention, then whats to say they are not the same way in the afterlife?!
     
     As far as seeing them, Im a firm believer that they are around us all the time.. They exist at a diffferent "place" to make it easier to explain, and as such we cannot see them. Humans are limited as to what we can percieve. This limit, again in my belief, is what prevents us from seeing them. As far as them doing things, nobody can tell you. We do believe that if it is a residual type instance, then whatever action was going on that made the imprint, then that action will continue to go on, and on, and on and on,,,,,,,........
